Time flies & we are celebrating our 2nd Anniversary soon. Not so long after our wedding, I found that I’m pregnant & the joy of having a honeymoon baby overrides the newly weds excitement & then followed by the new born baby disaster. When everything starts to settle down, all we want is to sleep, sleep, & more sleep. I feel like I’m sleep deprived for the first few months. It’s not that I’m not enjoying motherhood, I just feel exhausted for not being able to sleep for more than 3 hours every single day.
I feel that my life has come back when we sleep trained Isaac when he was 4.5 months. Since then, he will sleep at 7ish till 7ish the next morning.
To recap what I did 2 years ago in preparation of our wedding, I’m most proud of myself for hand making our wedding invitations & our wedding dolls. I might share, no guarantee but will do my best, our invitations later but I’m more excited to share how I crocheted our wedding dolls with some photos taken along the journey. It was fun & full of love when I made them and gone thru lots of trial & error. I’m glad the outcome was good & love them so much.
Start off with the groom’s head. It looks like a cartoon bun with eyes.
Much better when the wig was added & some embroidery of the hair line done.
The bride was done the same way but with a little bun on her hair.
The finished couple heads.
I’m not good at sewing so after lots of trial & error of the facials, I gave up, so the couple will just act cool on their big day.
The bride with her unproportional body.
Little booties for the bride.
The bride in her crocheted wedding gown, more details will need to be added to make her more special.
The groom’s booties & trousers. Looks like over the knee boots.
The groom’s body
I then made a jacket for the groom and add ruffle to his shirt, which I planned to get hubby wear a ruffle shirt on our big day but can’t find one that I like. And add embellishments to the bride’s gown and a veil with pearls for the bride.
The final look of the couple on our wedding day. Aren’t they adorable?
I had them sitting in the bucket of our wishing well.
& they lived happily ever after.
